Athena

Athena is a Marine Corps Veteran. She is originally from New York and moved to San Diego in 2010. After completing her Bachelors in Psychology, she decided she wanted to switch gears and do something she absolutely loved, which is working with animals.

In 2017, Athena completed her Veterinary Assistant certification at Pima Medical Institute. She plans to return to complete the Vet Tech program in the near future. Shortly after interning with the Humane Society, Athena joined the team here at Towne Centre Animal Hospital (formerly Cote Animal Hospital) in 2018 and expresses she has “enjoyed every minute of it since!”

Athena’s hobbies include painting and spending time with her girlfriend and their two dogs, “Lola” and “Cali”.
